I’m going to start my blog with what I believe is the essence of what I’m trying to do : a healthy lifestyle.
The key to a long healthy life is simply the way you live it.
I’m going to try to be brief and give you some general summary and in the near future I will be writing a specific post about each point.
I believe there are 4 fundamental points:
- Be positive
- Eat healthy
- Exercise
- Sleep
Be positive, I know it is easier said than done. A healthy positive attitude makes the immune system stronger, and our body believes what we think so let’s stay positive and be grateful and cherish everything we have in our lives.
Eat healthy = eat like a kid = eat more fruits and vegetables = eat 5 times a day.
I’m sure everyone already knows that eating more fruits and vegetables makes you healthier, but why 5 times a day?
Because it will simply boost your energy, help you manage your weight, stay cool, and have no cravings…
Another tip I can give you is to make sure that you read the label on the products you buy, because it is important to know what you are eating, and in this area Caprice Sante will help you because we prepare fresh and healthy snacks, desserts and breakfast all home made with ingredients you can clearly undesrtand.
Drink often and don’t wait till you are thirsty to do so, because that means you are already dehydrated. We are 70% made of water so you can only imagine the importance of H2O is to our health.
Exercising and being more active will not only help you look better 😉 but it will help you live healthier and longer. I know it’s not convenient to go to the gym for everyone and that includes me, but there is plenty other options, like putting some music and dance, go for a walk with your kid, partner, friend… take the stairs, park far from the entrance, bike or walk to work, go hiking, take dance lessons or any kind of class, but the idea is to be active and do something your passionate it about to keep doing in he future.
Sleep 7 to 8 hours, because it will not only make you feel better and look younger 😉 but it is a very important key to a healthy lifestyle since it will benefit your heart, weight, mind…
A healthy lifestyle is a milestone and to achieve it think small, start by changing small habits one at a time and without even noticing you will become a healthy person.
